What OpenAI confirms

OpenAI describes GPT-5.6 as a model family with Sol, Terra and Luna. Its announcement positions Sol for demanding work, Terra as a balanced option and Luna as the lowest-cost option. These names identify models within one family, not separate business products.

What this means for a website

For a website owner, the practical question is whether a model answers real customer questions accurately and quickly enough. A more capable model cannot repair contradictory source material or define the rules for handling customer inquiries on its own.

Compare models with the same test questions: explaining a service, handling a question without a verified answer and continuing a conversation after a correction. Judge an AI employee by those results in your own business, rather than applying a supplier’s broad claims to every use case.

How to evaluate an update

Before changing models, keep a set of test questions and compare both answer accuracy and adherence to the employee’s role. A newer model is not an improvement if it starts promising terms that the company has not confirmed.

In NEXSTA, the model works together with the company’s knowledge base, interface and inquiry dashboard. A model update should preserve the company’s working process. This article explains how to assess such updates; it does not announce an automatic change to your account.
